WML Scripting with Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) for Custom Web Application

WML is a markup language based on XML. It is not a programming language such as COBOL, Java or even VBScript. It is a mark-up language inherited from HTML, but WML is based on XML, so it is much stricter than HTML.

We at Evolve can use WML to create pages for specifying and displaying content on WAP devices and can also use to define text, object placement and appearance. WMLScript is a light JavaScript language used by WML to run simple code on the client. .

We can also do data transfer and presentation for a handheld device which involves the combination of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) with Wireless Markup Language (WML).

With the use of WML/WAP technology we provide wireless users with games, information and email services, instant messaging and a variety of other applications such as stock quotes, weather information and reservation systems.

To serve dynamic content to a WAP-enabled wireless device we can use PHP in conjunction with WML.
